Ullrike by Anki offers artisan yarn in unique colours and designs. All items are hand dyed in our studio in Turku, South-West of Finland.

Inspiration for the collections is drawn from the cultural history in the surroundings of Turku and the proximity of the Finnish archipelago. We take pride in respecting the long traditions of handicraft and offer products produced with care and respect for materials and environment. 

I, Anki, am a passionate knitter and dyer and the colour palette I create can be called a diary of life and experiences. The passion for colour has probably stemmed from the dark and dreary winter months in Finland when you do need anything to brighten your day - and that is done best with a colourful knitting project or experimenting at the dye pots. Most colours are inspired by the intense spring and summer months when the nature explodes with colour and power of growth.
