The pattern is interesting and fun to knit and features the motto "knit fast, die warm". The mitten has a nice tight fit with Latvian braid in the beginning and stranded colourwork throughout the mittens.

The yarn used in the kit is Ullrike Ambra, which is a 2-ply carded yarn spun out 100% Finnish wool. It has a rustic feel to it, but is soft and very pleasant to work with. This yarn is a good choice for all kinds of projects and works well in colourwork, cables and lacework.
